4- Results of PARAFAC2

The aim of PARAFAC2 is to model n-way data. It can be considered as an advanced variant of the normal PARAFAC1 model. It handles slab-wise deviations between components in one mode as long as the cross-product of the components stays reasonably fixed. This can be utilized for modeling chromatographic data with retention time shifts, modeling certain batch data of varying length etc...

The main results are the loadings for the 3 modes. Remember that Mode 1 has to be the common mode...

In the Results menu of PARAFAC2, loadings for the 3 modes are available in 1, 2 or 3 dimensions.

The Model can also be visualized (landscape view)...after having chosen one of the slabs (i.e. one of the batches).

Residuals can be seen for individual samples, the complete matrix and individual batch

The Results Menu can be improved according to comments and remarks of users.
